Help! I need to find a beautiful, affordable garden wedding venue ...?

My fiance and I are starting to pull her hair out :p trying to find a decent, affordable (%26lt;$1500) outdoor garden venue for a wedding. What we're looking for is something classic and beautiful with plenty of flowers and trees. NOT a golf course, nor a chapel or church building, or a hotel, and definitely not designed or accessorized like it was from the 80s. We've been search for a month and no luck whatsoever!! We're looking for something in the Illinois/Missouri area. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

i'd look for those in your area


try botanical gardens


greenhouses with outdoor areas


some colleges have really nice gardens





you might also contact your local news station, tv, and ask if they can do a human interest story on the two of you


see if they can solicit for you and have ppl call the station or email you via their website with location suggestions and pricing info
Reply:What I would do is call local cities around your area. They can rent parks/gardens and other facilities to you for your wedding...and they can usually do it for a really good price.


I am not sure how close you are to Springfield, but here are the rental facilities that they have to offer for weddings. It really does help to go to your cities parks and recreations websites
