What's the setup cost if I want to get into compound casting?

I am fascinated by the idea of designing and casting my own objects.


I could see myself casting anything from garden furniture to boat hulls.


For now though, I'm not even at the hobby stage of it yet.


What do you reckon, how much is it to get going, maybe with just enough stuff and accessories to start casting my own lawn ornaments?
