I am looking for sites on the Internet about modern gardening preferably with pictures. I have a really small garden and would like to keep it simple and clean. Any ideas? Thank you!
Modern gardening design!?
Hello!
Ah... i see.. you want to design your small garden. It's simple. But first of all, you must ask yourself what type of garden you want. Let's say,
-Zen [More to utilizing space; Japan style]
-Egyptian [PLanting of palm trees; symmetrical %26amp; formal garden]
-Balinese [A sense of asian feel garden; similar to zen]
-tropical [A tropical forest feel; planted with tropical plants]
These ideas are ideal for a small scale garden.
Another idea i have, which maybe out of your question, [which you wanted MODERN] is the old ancient times [if you do like those dark ages, etc] - Roman garden, babylon hanging garden, Middle ages garden or English garden to your liking! =)
Lastly, ask yourself, do you enjoy random life or something organized and predictable? If you enjoy random life, go for a assymetrical design. If you want something organised, go for a formal, symmetrical garden!
With all these, you can draw a picture of how your garden will look like and hence, construct your desired garden! =)
Oh yes, as you want it to be clean, choose low-maintenance plants. You may think that low-maintenance plants are always dull and not colourful then you are wrong. =)

Lastly, before i go, do you know that you can actually make your garden looks bigger even though it's small in reality?
YES... it's possible. It's called Minimalism. THe latter can make your garden more spacious, more effects without extending the garden boundary. It's true. Check out how you can do it. Minimalism garden is a mixture of zen, balinese and tropical. Read more about them =)
